first on the good thing
the concert lighting, stage, music were fanstatic. andy performance was execellence. most of his performance were on the stage but he also went on to two crane type stage. this crane bring him closer to those fans on the outer seat of the stadium. he was also cabled (flied) from the stage to the centre portion of the audience where we sat. we were so close like 5m away from him. the temperature was low at 5C, andy was wearing short sleeve performing at his best to entertain the fans.
now on the bad part
the adminstration or the system so bad. we reached the statium at 7pm and managed to get in after wasting lot of time, pushing and shovering. the entrance was just a small opening for one person and 7000 to 8000 people were trying to get in through this opening. it was a messed. by the time we got in, the light suddenly turn off and the show started. i pity those who were far behind, they would have missed the first 1/2hours of the show. very badly managed in term of crowd control.
many still carry camera in to the show including the security themselves. i even saw one guy using a portable video camera. so bring whatever you need if you were told not too do so on the ticket instruction because this is china.
on top of that, for those who had watch the Wonderful World 2008 at shanghai, you should forget about the concert. it was 80% similar.
personally, if I would come again, i will not buy the 880 ticket, i will just get the 300rmb tickets, use a binocular. i could even pay for my son to attend this event. i know that 周杰伦 coming to kunshan in may, that maybe a good time for another show.
Some lousy night pictures taken from my omnia
this picture is when andy sang "苯小孩".
the fans of andy lau, look at the far back, those sat paid 300rmb.
the plastic chair (use by kopitiam) for 880rmb seat

after the show before the crowd started to leave, we quickly took a picture.

I thought is indoor concert, after saw people wearing rain coat then realised is open air stadium.
In Singapore, I have been to 2 concerts, I always bought the cheapest one S$70-S$80. I just watched the big projected screen and enjoyed the songs. Those expensive tickets are for die hard fans.
i knew it was for a stadium. even at other province in china, it will be in a stadium.
first time, no experience. haha
I can't believe how expensive the tickets are! He is a major star in Asia though and a huge draw, i guess the prices can be justified.
Hek
hek, yes... it depends on individual preferences and ability to pay. Andy very popular in Asia
