Lion Dance during Chinese New Year in Singapore

It is a very common sight to see lion dance in Singapore during the Chinese New Year period.

We were out having lunch at AMK Ave 4 hawker centre (for those who do not know what is hawker centre, it is basically food centre or a place where many cook food stalls are located with free sitting). While having lunch, we heard drum beat and gong approaching us. We saw then a group of lion dancers approaching and finally stop next to us. They are invited by one of the stall to perform lion dance for good wishes for the new lunar year.

Pictures for those not familiar with Singapore culture.
